Rainy day photos

The rainy season started on Saturday night. This was not a gradual seasonal shift: one day it was dry, the next it was wet. It rained for most of the day on Sunday, which was perfect for reading and movies and naps but when it stopped I took the chance to get some “fresh” air and go for a walk. I took my camera and new tripod with me and took these rainy day photos in my neighbourhood.

MJ visits Thailand – the last few stragglers

I’ve still got many photos I could happily post from MJ’s visit, but I realise that it might be overkill. So here are some of my favourites that I haven’t posted yet. Mostly taken from a day of siteseeing around Bangkok.

Vietnam: a photo essay

I can’t find time to post this week which is crazy because I’ve got so many adventures to report on. Some of them are so far in the distant past (November and December!) that I can’t even recall the names of the people in the photos.
To cut through this serious blogging backlog I will photo-blog and you can fill in the witty commentary yourselves. This is way too easy.

Posting photos on blogger: a step by step guide

This isn’t really a step by step guide but it seems like all the most popular blogs do them a lot. Actually this time I am just testing the photo options on blogger and need to write something around the photo to get a sense of what it really looks like.

1. I need to go to bed. This is ridiculous

2. The gingerbread icecream was probably a mistake.

3. Not everyone embraces the Legend of Old Gregg.

4.This photo was taken in Sarajevo, Bosnia.

5. Of all the photos I took this was probably the least interesting one.

6. A real word of advice would be: Use not-crap photos in your blog.

7. It sounds so simple when you put it like that, but it’s a whole different matter when you are actually introducing these ideas into daily life.

8. Bad habits are very hard to break.
